MobiGas is committed to protecting the personal data of all users in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 (KDPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) principles.
We process personal data under the following legal bases: Contractual necessity (to provide our gas delivery and credit facilitation services); Legitimate interests (to improve our platform and prevent fraud); Legal obligation (to comply with Kenyan financial and data protection regulations); Consent (for optional features such as marketing communications).
We collect only the minimum personal data necessary to provide our services. We do not collect sensitive personal data beyond what is required for identity verification and credit facilitation.
Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers in Europe. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. All international data transfers are conducted under appropriate safeguards.
In the event of a personal data breach, MobiGas will notify the ODPC within 72 hours and affected users without undue delay, as required by the KDPA.
